It's tough question but do you think there is more kinetic energy or gravitational energy in the world? But before you decide you need to know what they mean and examples of what they are. Kinetic energy is something that IS ALREADY moving. An example of that would be a car when it is driving, when a person is walking or running and one more would be a leaf that is FALLING, not about to fall but falling. Gravitational energy is the opposite of kinetic energy. Gravitational energy is something that has the potential to fall, for example a leaf that is STILL ON A BRANCH. Another example would be if you are holding a paper in your hand, it has the potential to fall but it isn't. A third example would be when you are on top of a roller coaster, you can go back and fall or fall forward. Now that you know these definitions what do you think? Is there more kinetic energy or gravitational energy in the world? I think that there is more kinetic energy in the world mainly because most of the things on this planet are moving, there are a billion moving care and people on this planet! However there is a lot of gravitational energy too, because every fruit that hangs on a tree has the potential to fall. Of course you know that there is a lot of fruit on trees! But if I think of it overall I think that there are more moving this in the world rather then things that are about to fall. That is the reason why i think there is more kinetic energy rather then gravitational energy!
